Scripture: “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” — Proverbs 27:17 (ESV)
Devotional
Integrity doesn’t grow in isolation—it grows in accountability. God designed you to be sharpened, strengthened, and refined through relationships with other believers who speak truth, ask hard questions, and help you stay aligned with Christ.
In real estate, where independence is celebrated, accountability becomes even more vital.
You need people who can:
• Pray with you
• Challenge your motives
• Ask about your integrity
• Encourage your faith
• Hold you to your commitments
• Remind you of your calling
Accountability is not weakness; it is wisdom. It protects you from blind spots, pride, and compromise. It keeps your heart soft and your walk steady.
Seek out relationships that sharpen you. Build rhythms of transparency. Let your character be strengthened through community, not isolated ambition.
Reflection Questions:
· Who holds me accountable spiritually and professionally?
· Where do I resist accountability out of pride or fear?
· What next step can I take to strengthen my accountability relationships?
Prayer
Lord, thank You for the gift of godly accountability. Surround me with people who sharpen my character and strengthen my integrity. Help me walk in transparency and humility. Amen.
