Excellence as a Form of Integrity [Residential Broker #70]

Excellence as a Form of Integrity [Residential Broker #70]

Scripture: “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23 (ESV)

Devotional

Excellence is not merely a business practice—it is a spiritual discipline. When you give your best effort, prepare thoroughly, present professionally, and work with diligence, you reflect the excellence of God Himself.

Excellence is a form of integrity because it means you take your role seriously and serve people wholeheartedly. It means you do not cut corners, rush tasks, or deliver half-hearted work just because no one is watching. Excellence says, “I honor God through how I work.”

Clients notice excellence. Colleagues respect it. God delights in it.

Excellence does not mean perfection. It means intention. It means stewardship. It means doing your work with care, attention, and passion because you are ultimately working for Christ—not the commission check.

Let your excellence today be an offering of worship.

Reflection Questions:

·       What area of my work has slipped below excellence?

·       How can I raise my standard of preparation or quality?

·       How does excellence reflect Christ to my clients?

Prayer

Lord, help me work with excellence that honors You. Strengthen my diligence and intention, and let my work reflect the excellence of my Savior. Amen.
