Scripture: “One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much.” — Luke 16:10 (ESV)
Devotional
Not every moment in healthcare feels significant. Many interactions are brief—quick conversations, routine check-ins, or simple updates.
But small interactions carry great weight.
A brief moment of kindness can ease anxiety. A clear explanation can bring peace. A respectful tone can restore dignity.
God values faithfulness in small things because they reveal the condition of your heart.
Excellence is not limited to major responsibilities—it is expressed in everyday moments.
When you approach each interaction with intentional care, you create a ripple effect. Patients feel seen. Coworkers feel respected. Trust is built.
You may not remember every small interaction—but others might.
Choose to make each moment count.
Reflection Questions:
• Do you tend to overlook small interactions?
• How can you approach them with greater intentionality?
Action Step: In every brief interaction today, intentionally maintain eye contact and speak with clarity and kindness.
Prayer
God, help me to be faithful in small moments. Let my interactions reflect Your care and excellence. Amen.
