Finishing Each Day with Trust [Healthcare Professional #70]

Finishing Each Day with Trust [Healthcare Professional #70]

Scripture

“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3 (ESV)

Devotional

At the end of a long day, it can be difficult to let go. You may replay decisions, think about patients, or carry the weight of unfinished tasks.

But God invites you to release your work to Him.

You have done your part. You have served, cared, and given your effort. What remains is in His hands.

Holding on to everything will only lead to exhaustion. Releasing it allows you to rest.

Trusting God at the end of the day is just as important as trusting Him at the beginning.

He is still working, even when you are not.

Let go. Rest. Trust Him with what remains.

Reflection Questions

• Do you struggle to disconnect from your work at the end of the day?

• What would it look like to fully trust God with unfinished matters?

Action Step

Before ending your day, take a moment to mentally release your work to God and entrust Him with everything you cannot control.

Prayer

Father, I commit my work to You. Help me to rest and trust You with all that remains. Amen.
