Buying and selling real estate is filled with emotion. Joy, fear, nostalgia, disappointment, excitement, and uncertainty often appear throughout the process. Preparing clients emotionally is just as important as preparing them practically.
You serve clients well when you explain the emotional hurdles they may face, reassure them when they become overwhelmed, normalize their concerns, offer perspective when things do not go as planned, and speak calm truth during stressful moments.
A good word—one of encouragement, reassurance, or perspective—can lift the heavy burdens your clients carry. When you prepare them ahead of time for emotional moments, you protect their peace and strengthen their ability to make wise decisions.
Serving clients emotionally is one of the most Christlike aspects of your work.
