Scripture
“The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof.” — Psalm 24:1 (ESV)
Devotional
Every home you enter is part of God’s creation and story. It has housed memories, joys, trials, laughter, prayers, pain, and the daily rhythms of people’s lives. When you show a home, you are stepping into sacred space.
Seeing homes this way elevates your work. You’re not just unlocking doors—you’re entering ministry moments. You’re not just evaluating floor plans—you’re witnessing chapters of people’s lives. You’re not just guiding buyers—you’re stewarding space God has entrusted you to facilitate.
This mindset turns every showing into an opportunity for compassion, prayer, and presence. Sometimes you sense heaviness in a home and quietly pray for peace. Sometimes you feel joy and thank God for blessings. Sometimes you sense transition and pray for God’s guidance over the next family.
Homes are not just properties—they are ministries waiting to happen.
Reflection Questions
• How would my perspective change if I viewed every home as sacred space?
• What spiritual opportunities might I be overlooking?
• How can I pray over the homes I enter today?
Prayer
Lord, help me see every home as a place You care about deeply. Let my presence bring light, peace, and blessing to every space I enter. Amen.
