Scripture: “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” — Psalm 90:12
Devotional
In financial planning, time is always in focus—time to retire, time in the market, time to make a move. But what about your own time? Are you stewarding it with purpose and wisdom?
Psalm 90 reminds us that life is brief—and therefore precious. Time is not just a tool for client strategy. It is a gift from God, entrusted to you for worship, work, and witness. How you spend it reveals what you value.
This includes your calendar. Are you overcommitted? Avoiding rest? Neglecting relationships? Or are you building margin, practicing Sabbath, and making space to disciple others?
Stewarding money without stewarding time creates imbalance. Ask the Lord to help you assess not just your clients’ timelines—but your own.
Reflection Questions:
How well are you managing your own time in light of your values and calling?
Are there commitments or habits that are stealing from your purpose?
What rhythms can help you steward your time more intentionally?
Prayer
Lord, teach me to number my days. Help me use my time wisely—not just efficiently. Let my calendar reflect what matters most to You.
