Trusting God with Outcomes [Banker #40]

Trusting God with Outcomes [Banker #40]

Scripture: “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” — Proverbs 16:3

Devotional

Banking is filled with variables you cannot control—market shifts, client decisions, approvals, and outcomes that don’t always go as planned.

It’s easy to carry the weight of these uncertainties, feeling responsible for results that are ultimately beyond your control.

But God never asked you to control outcomes. He asks you to be faithful in obedience.

Your role is to prepare diligently, act with integrity, and serve others well. The results belong to Him.

Trusting God with outcomes doesn’t mean you stop caring—it means you release the burden of control. It means finding peace even when things don’t go your way, knowing that God is still at work.

When you surrender outcomes to God, you gain freedom. Freedom from anxiety. Freedom from pressure. Freedom to simply be faithful.

And in that faithfulness, you will find both peace and purpose.

Reflection Questions:

• What outcomes am I currently trying to control?

• What would it look like to fully trust God in that situation?

Action Step: Write down one current concern and intentionally surrender it to God in prayer.

Prayer

Lord, I trust You with the outcomes. Help me to be faithful in what You’ve given me and to rest in Your sovereignty over all things. Amen.
