Trusting God with Outcomes [Financial Advisor #69]

Trusting God with Outcomes [Financial Advisor #69]

Scripture: “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3

Devotional

You can control your effort—but not the outcome.

Markets fluctuate. Plans change. Unexpected events reshape even the most well-designed strategies. As a financial advisor, this can feel frustrating, even discouraging.

But Scripture reminds you that your responsibility is not to control results—it is to commit your work to God.

Trusting God with outcomes means releasing what you cannot control. It means doing your best with integrity, then trusting Him with what follows.

This doesn’t remove responsibility—it redefines it.

You are called to diligence, excellence, and faithfulness. God is responsible for the results.

When you embrace this truth, pressure begins to lift. Anxiety gives way to peace. And your work becomes an act of trust, not just effort.

Reflection Questions:

  1. Where are you currently trying to control outcomes instead of trusting God?

  2. How does uncertainty affect your peace and confidence?

  3. What would it look like to fully surrender your work to God?

Prayer

God, I commit my work to You. Help me trust You with the outcomes and find peace in knowing that You are in control. Amen.
