Scripture: Romans 12:1 — “…present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.”
Devotional
Worship is far more than singing on Sunday. It is the offering of your whole life—including your work—to God. When you approach your job with a surrendered heart, you transform ordinary tasks into acts of worship.
Your desk can become an altar. Your toolbox can become an instrument of praise. Your meetings can become moments of obedience. Your leadership can become a reflection of Christ. Your routine can become holy.
Worship is not what you do; it’s how you do it. You worship when you work with integrity. You worship when you treat others with compassion. You worship when you resist complaining, choose joy, and honor God in your decisions. When work is offered to God, it becomes sacred.
Your workplace is one of the primary places you live out your devotion to Christ. There is no divide between “sacred” and “secular” work when your heart belongs to Him.
Reflection Questions:
In what ways can you intentionally worship God through your work today?
Are there areas of frustration or routine you need to surrender to Him?
How might your workplace change if you viewed it as a place of worship?
Prayer
Lord, I offer today’s work to You. Make my attitude, decisions, and actions an act of worship. Use my labor to glorify Your name and draw others to You. Amen.
