​What if you approached your workplace the same way you would approach a mission field?

This fall, The Divine Purpose of Work is partnering with Follower of One to offer their Marketplace Mission Trip, a practical experience designed to help Christians intentionally live out their faith right where God has already placed them—their everyday workplace.

​

September 27 – October 2.  No Cost, No Pressure.

You don't have to travel anywhere. You don't have to take time off from work. Your workplace becomes the mission field.

What Is a Marketplace Mission Trip?

The Marketplace Mission Trip is a guided experience developed by Follower of One that helps Christians become more intentional about following Jesus and serving others in their everyday work.

​

Instead of traveling to another city or country for a traditional mission trip, participants continue going to their normal jobs while intentionally looking for opportunities to pray, serve, encourage, build relationships, and demonstrate the love of Christ to the people around them.

​

For one week, you'll begin each workday asking a different question:

“God, how can You use me in my workplace today?”

​

What Will I Do?

During the Marketplace Mission Trip, you'll receive practical guidance and simple daily activities that help you put your faith into action.

​

You'll be encouraged to:

• Pray intentionally for the people you work with.

• Ask God to show you where He is already working.

• Serve coworkers, customers, clients, and others around you.

• Look for opportunities to encourage and care for people.

• Practice living and working in a way that reflects Christ.

• Become more aware of opportunities to participate in God's work throughout your normal workday.
   

This isn't about forcing conversations or turning your workplace into a church service. It's about becoming more intentional about following Jesus while you work.

Why Participate?

Many Christians want to live out their faith at work but aren't sure what that actually looks like.

The Marketplace Mission Trip gives you an opportunity to practice.

​

For one intentional week, you'll begin seeing coworkers differently, noticing opportunities you may have previously overlooked, and discovering simple ways God can use your everyday work and relationships for His purposes.

And our hope is that something important happens:

The mission trip ends—but the mission doesn't.

​

The habits you develop during the week can become part of the way you approach your workplace throughout the year.
