Anchored in Truth [Attorney #89]

Anchored in Truth [Attorney #89]

Scripture

“Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.” — John 17:17

Devotional

The legal profession is centered on truth—interpreting it, presenting it, and defending it. But beyond legal truth, there is a deeper foundation you must remain anchored in: God’s truth.

Without a steady foundation, it is easy to drift. The pressures of the profession, the complexity of cases, and the influence of culture can gradually shape your thinking.

God’s Word provides clarity. It anchors your values, guides your decisions, and keeps your perspective aligned.

Staying grounded in truth requires intentional effort. It means regularly engaging with Scripture, reflecting on it, and allowing it to shape how you think and act.

When you are anchored in truth, you gain stability. You are less influenced by external pressure and more guided by internal conviction.

Your ability to navigate complex legal issues is strengthened when your life is grounded in something unchanging.
