Asking God for Daily Wisdom [Sales Professional #179]
Listen to today's devotional:
Scripture
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God… and it will be given him.” — James 1:5 (ESV)
Devotional
Sales requires constant wisdom—how to handle objections, prioritize tasks, navigate personalities, and steward opportunities. God promises that if you ask Him for wisdom, He will give it generously.
Wisdom is more than strategy; it is Spirit-led insight. It includes:
Knowing when to speak and when to listen
Reading between the lines
Sensing when someone needs encouragement
Understanding timing
Responding with grace
Making ethical decisions quickly
You don’t have to navigate your day alone. Ask God for wisdom at the start of every morning, and throughout the day as often as needed. He delights to guide His people.
Reflection Questions
Where do I need fresh wisdom today?
Do I regularly ask God for insight—or try to figure everything out myself?
What situations or relationships require His guidance right now?
Prayer
Lord, I ask for Your wisdom today. Guide my decisions, my words, my timing, and my actions. Give me insight beyond my experience and lead me by Your Spirit. Amen.
