Real estate development requires constant decision-making. Every day may involve evaluating budgets, reviewing contracts, solving problems, responding to emails, and managing competing priorities. Over time, this pace can create decision fatigue.
When exhaustion increases, discernment often weakens. Small issues begin feeling overwhelming. Patience decreases. Clarity fades. Even wise leaders can start making reactive or short-sighted decisions when mentally and spiritually depleted.
God did not design you to operate endlessly without renewal. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that true strength comes not from constant striving, but from waiting on the Lord.
Renewal is not laziness—it is stewardship. Rest, prayer, reflection, and healthy rhythms allow your mind and spirit to recover. They create space for clearer thinking and wiser judgment.
Jesus regularly withdrew to pray and rest, even while carrying immense responsibility. If He prioritized renewal, you should not ignore your own need for it.
Serving others well includes leading from a healthy place. Your team, your family, and your projects are all affected by the condition of your mind and spirit.
Sometimes the wisest decision is not pushing harder—it is stepping back long enough to regain clarity and strength through God’s presence.

Lord, renew my strength when I grow weary. Help me lead from a place of peace, clarity, and dependence on You rather than constant exhaustion. Amen.
