Rumors of restructuring, changing leadership, missed targets, or shifting strategies can stir up a deep fear: What if I lose my job? What will happen to my family? This fear can dominate your thoughts and steal your peace.
God doesn’t shame you for fear; He invites you to bring it to Him. David doesn’t say, “I’m never afraid”—he says, “When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.” The issue isn’t whether fear arises, but where you place it.
Losing a job is serious, and God cares about your practical needs. Yet your employment is not your ultimate security—He is. He can provide in ways you don’t see, open doors you don’t expect, and sustain you through transitions you didn’t plan.
Place your employment, your income, and your future in His hands. Work diligently, seek wisdom—and trust that your life is held by Someone far greater than your company.
