Becoming God’s Ambassador in the Workplace [Sales Professional #191]
Listen to today's devotional:
Scripture
“We are ambassadors for Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 5:20 (ESV)
Devotional
You are not only an employee, salesperson, or professional—you are an ambassador for Christ. That means everywhere you go, you represent the Kingdom. When you walk into an office, dial into a meeting, or step onto a sales floor, Christ is present through you.
Ambassadors don’t speak or act on their own authority. They carry the values, message, and heart of the One who sent them. As a sales professional, this means your conduct, tone, decisions, and relationships all communicate something about Jesus.
You don’t need a title, pulpit, or platform to be an ambassador. You simply need a surrendered heart and a willingness to reflect Christ wherever you go. Your workplace is your embassy; your interactions are divine appointments.
Reflection Questions
Do I see myself as Christ’s ambassador at work?
What message does my conduct communicate to coworkers and clients?
How can I reflect Christ more clearly this week?
Prayer
Lord, help me live as Your ambassador today. Let my actions and attitudes represent You with clarity, humility, and love. Speak through me in every interaction. Amen.
