In the legal profession, people are constantly evaluating your reliability. Can you be trusted? Will you follow through? Are you consistent?
Steady character is built over time. It is not formed in a single decision, but through repeated choices to act with integrity, honesty, and discipline.
Being steady means you are dependable regardless of circumstances. Your behavior does not shift with pressure, mood, or convenience. You maintain your standards even when no one is watching.
This kind of character builds trust. Clients rely on it. Colleagues respect it. And over time, it becomes one of your greatest strengths.
More importantly, steady character reflects God’s faithfulness. He is consistent, unchanging, and dependable—and He calls you to reflect those same qualities.
Your character is your foundation. Everything else in your work is built upon it.
