Proverbs 10:9 — “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out.”

Honesty is easy when it costs little. The true test comes when telling the truth might mean losing approval, facing consequences, or admitting failure. In those moments, the temptation is strong to shade the truth or hide behind vague language.
Scripture reminds you that integrity leads to security. Even if honesty seems costly in the moment, the long-term cost of deceit is far greater—eroded trust, a troubled conscience, and eventual exposure. God sees every hidden detail and honors those who walk uprightly before Him.
At work, honesty might mean admitting a mistake before it’s discovered, correcting a false impression, or refusing to understate risks. You may feel vulnerable, but you are not unprotected. The God of truth stands with you as you tell the truth.

Prayer
Father, You are the God of truth. Strengthen me to walk in integrity, even when it’s costly. Protect my heart from fear and compromise, and let me find my security in You, not in managing appearances. Amen.
