Scripture: “Provide honorable things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.” — 2 Corinthians 8:21 (NKJV)
Devotional
In sales, it can be tempting to adjust your behavior based on who is watching—clients, managers, executives, or peers. But Scripture calls you to be the same person in every environment: honorable before God and people.
Integrity means your internal reality matches your external image. You don’t put on a “professional mask” that hides who you are in Christ. Instead, your faith quietly but consistently shapes your decisions, your tone, and your treatment of others.
When you are consistent—at home, at church, in the office, on the road—your life becomes credible. People may not agree with your beliefs, but they will respect that you are genuine and trustworthy.
Ask God to make you whole, not divided. The world doesn’t need another polished persona; it needs authentic disciples of Jesus who live the same way wherever they go.
Reflection Questions:
· Are there places where I act differently depending on who is watching?
· Would my coworkers be surprised to see how I act outside of work?
· What would it look like for me to live as one consistent, Christlike person?
Prayer
Lord, make me the same person in every setting. Remove any hypocrisy from my life and help me walk honorably before You and others. Let my consistency reflect Your transforming power. Amen.
