Scripture: “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you.” — John 14:27 (ESV)
Devotional
Commercial real estate involves big decisions and big emotions. Clients worry about financing, competition, deadlines, and the unknown. In those moments, they look to you—not just for answers, but for steadiness.
As a follower of Christ, you carry the peace of the Holy Spirit. You don’t have to absorb your clients’ anxiety; you can bring calm into their chaos. This doesn’t mean pretending everything is fine. It means holding a non-anxious presence rooted in trust that God is in control.
When you respond calmly to frantic emails, reassure clients with honesty, provide clear steps, or simply slow the pace of the room, you lead them toward peace. You become a stabilizing force—someone people want beside them in the storm.
Your calm may be one of the clearest testimonies you ever give.
Reflection Questions:
· How do I respond when client anxiety increases—reactively or redemptively?
· What practices help me carry God’s peace into high-pressure situations?
Prayer
Holy Spirit, fill me with Your peace so I can bring calm to anxious clients. Let my presence reflect Your steady heart today. Amen.
