Bringing Christ into Your Follow-Up [Sales Professional #182]
Listen to today's devotional:
Scripture
“Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14 (ESV)
Devotional
Follow-up can feel mechanical—emails, calls, reminders. But when Christ shapes your follow-up, it becomes an opportunity to extend love, diligence, and excellence.
Christlike follow-up means:
Being respectful of people’s time
Adding value instead of pressure
Checking in with genuine care
Following through with integrity
Keeping promises you’ve made
Communicating clearly and graciously
People can sense when you are following up out of genuine service versus desperation or manipulation. When done in love, follow-up becomes part of your ministry—showing clients that they matter, not just their business.
Reflection Questions
What motivates my follow-up—pressure or love?
How can I add more value and care to my follow-up messages?
Whom do I need to follow up with today in a Christlike way?
Prayer
Lord, let every follow-up be done in love. Help me serve, not pressure. Guide my words and actions so clients feel valued and respected. Amen.
