Building a Legacy of Faithfulness [Financial Advisor #50]

Scripture: “Well done, good and faithful servant…” — Matthew 25:21

Devotional

At the end of your career, what will matter most?

It won’t be just the size of the portfolios you managed or the revenue you generated. It will be the faithfulness you lived out, the integrity you maintained, and the people you impacted.

You are building a legacy—whether you realize it or not.

Every decision, every conversation, every act of service contributes to that legacy. You are shaping how clients view trust, stewardship, and even, in some cases, God Himself.

The ultimate goal is not earthly recognition—it is hearing those words from your Heavenly Father: “Well done.”

Live today with that end in mind.

Faithfulness over time creates a legacy that outlasts performance metrics. It becomes a testimony of a life lived with purpose.

Reflection Questions:

  1. What kind of legacy are you currently building through your work?

  2. Are your daily decisions aligned with the legacy you desire?

  3. How can you intentionally invest in eternal impact, not just temporal success?

Prayer

Lord, help me build a legacy of faithfulness. Guide my work, my decisions, and my relationships so that they honor You and impact others for eternity.
