Building a Legacy of Integrity [Financial Advisor #193]

Scripture

“The righteous who walks in his integrity—blessed are his children after him!” — Proverbs 20:7.

Devotional

Every decision contributes to your legacy.

Many people think of legacy as something they leave behind at the end of life. In reality, legacy is being built every day.

Your integrity shapes your legacy.

Your consistency shapes your legacy.

Your treatment of others shapes your legacy.

Your faithfulness shapes your legacy.

The most valuable legacy is not measured by assets accumulated or professional achievements attained.

It is measured by character.

People may eventually forget your production numbers.

They may forget awards and accomplishments.

But they will remember how you lived.

They will remember whether you could be trusted.

They will remember whether your faith influenced your actions.

They will remember whether your life reflected Christ.

As a financial advisor, you have opportunities every day to build a legacy of integrity.

Choose honesty over shortcuts.

Choose service over self-interest.

Choose faithfulness over convenience.

Those choices compound over time.

And they create a legacy that extends far beyond your career.

Reflection Questions

• What kind of legacy am I building right now?

• What character qualities do I hope others remember about me?

• How do today's decisions affect tomorrow's legacy?

Action Step

Identify one area where you can strengthen your integrity and commit to taking a specific step forward this week.

Prayer

Father, help me build a legacy that honors You. May my life reflect integrity, faithfulness, and Christlike character in every season. Amen.
