Scripture: “Let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’” — Matthew 5:37
Devotional
Trust is built over time through consistent actions. In accounting, reliability is essential. People depend on your word, your follow-through, and your attention to detail.
Consistency is not always exciting. It often involves doing the same things well, day after day. Yet it is this steady reliability that forms the foundation of trust.
Scripture emphasizes the importance of being dependable in both words and actions. When your commitments align with your behavior, credibility grows. When your actions are consistent, others gain confidence in your character.
Inconsistency, even in small ways, can erode trust. Missed commitments, unclear communication, or fluctuating standards create uncertainty. But consistency builds stability and confidence.
God is perfectly consistent. His faithfulness never wavers. As you reflect His character, your reliability becomes a testimony of His steadiness.
Today, focus on being consistent—honoring your commitments and maintaining your standards.
