Dependence When You Struggle [Sales Professional #40]

Scripture: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (ESV)

Devotional

Not every season in sales is a winning season. There are times when everything feels uphill—slow responses, lost accounts, missed goals, discouraging feedback. In those moments, you may feel weak, inadequate, or even tempted to give up.

But God’s Word offers a surprising encouragement: His power is made perfect in weakness. When you reach the end of your own strength, you are invited to lean more fully on His.

Dependence on God is not failure—it is faith. It sounds like:

“Lord, I can’t do this without You.”

“Jesus, give me wisdom, courage, and endurance.”

“Holy Spirit, strengthen me where I feel weak.”

Your struggle does not disqualify you from being used by God. In fact, it often becomes the very place where His grace shines brightest.

Reflection Questions:

·       Where in my work do I feel most weak or discouraged right now?

·       How might God be inviting me to depend more fully on Him in that area?

·       What promise from Scripture can I cling to in this season?

Prayer

Lord, I bring You my weakness and discouragement. Let Your grace be sufficient for me. Show Your power in my limitations and help me walk forward in faith, not despair. Amen.
