Scripture: “Let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ.” — Philippians 1:27 (ESV)
Devotional:
In sales—and in faith—people often listen to your life before they listen to your words. The way you handle pressure, treat others, admit mistakes, and follow through on commitments either strengthens or weakens your credibility.
Paul urges believers to let their manner of life be worthy of the gospel. That doesn’t mean earning God’s love; it means living in a way that reflects it. When your conduct is honorable, your faith becomes believable.
If coworkers and clients see integrity, kindness, patience, and consistency in you, they are far more likely to be open when spiritual conversations naturally arise. You’re not just trying to “get a chance to share your faith”—you are living your faith in such a way that others want to know more.
Your daily life at work is earning, or eroding, the right to be heard.
Reflection Questions:
· What does my daily conduct communicate about my faith to those around me?
· Are there areas where my actions and my beliefs feel out of alignment?
· What change can I make today so my manner of life better reflects Christ?
Prayer
Lord, let my life be worthy of the gospel I claim. Help my daily conduct build credibility, not confusion. Use my actions to open hearts to the hope I have in You. Amen.
