Scripture: “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (ESV)
Devotional
Healthcare is a team effort. No one works in isolation. The environment can be demanding, and your coworkers often face the same pressures you do.
Encouragement is powerful.
A simple word of appreciation, acknowledgment, or support can lift someone’s spirit. It can strengthen relationships and create a more positive environment.
Encouragement is not complicated—it is intentional.
When you recognize the efforts of others, you contribute to a culture of respect and support. You reflect Christ’s love through your words.
Everyone needs encouragement—even those who appear strong.
Be someone who builds others up.
Reflection Questions:
• Do you regularly encourage those around you?
• Who might need encouragement today?
Action Step: Offer a genuine word of encouragement to at least one coworker today.
Prayer
Father, help me to encourage others. Use my words to strengthen and uplift those around me. Amen.
