Scripture
“Search me, O God, and know my heart… and lead me in the way everlasting.” — Psalm 139:23–24
Devotional
The pace of legal work often pushes you from one task to the next without pause. But without reflection, it is easy to repeat mistakes, miss growth opportunities, and lose perspective.
Taking time to reflect at the end of each day creates clarity.
Reflection allows you to evaluate your decisions, your interactions, and your responses. It helps you identify what went well and where you can improve.
More importantly, it invites God into your daily experience. When you ask Him to search your heart, you open yourself to growth, correction, and guidance.
Reflection is not about dwelling on mistakes—it is about learning from them. It is about becoming more intentional in how you live and work.
A few moments of reflection can transform your approach to the next day.
Reflection Questions
• What went well today, and what could I improve?
• Where did I see God at work in my day?
Action Step
At the end of your workday, take 2–3 minutes to quietly reflect and identify one thing to improve tomorrow.
Prayer
Lord, search my heart and guide my steps. Help me grow each day and become more aligned with Your purpose. Amen.
