Scripture: “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31 (ESV)
Devotional
It’s easy to separate the “spiritual” parts of life from the everyday tasks of work. Bible study feels holy. Filing documents, not so much. But Paul reminds us that whatever you do—even the most mundane or technical—is meant to glorify God.
That includes your legal work.
Every case you manage. Every contract you review. Every deposition you prepare. Every strategy session you lead. Each of these is a stage for worship—not because of the task itself, but because of how and why you do it.
Are you working for approval or for the Lord? Are you serving clients for their praise or to reflect Christ? Are you pursuing results to build your name—or His Kingdom?
When you see every case as an altar, your day transforms. Work becomes sacred. Deadlines become offerings. Your brief is no longer just a legal document—it’s a chance to show excellence, integrity, and grace.
You are a worshiper in a courtroom, at a desk, on a call. Wherever you go, the glory of God goes with you.
Reflection Questions:
Do you view your legal tasks as a spiritual offering to God?
How would your mindset shift if you treated every case as a form of worship?
What intention can you set before starting your next task today?
Prayer
God, help me see all my work as worship. Let every email, every decision, every word be for Your glory. Shape my heart to serve not for recognition—but for You alone.
