When your work is motivated primarily by outcomes, discouragement can grow whenever results fall short of expectations. But when your work is offered to God, faithfulness itself becomes valuable.
This perspective creates freedom. You can pursue excellence wholeheartedly without tying your identity to success or failure. You can work diligently while trusting God with the final outcome.
As an accountant, some of your most meaningful contributions may never be fully recognized. Problems prevented, systems strengthened, trust maintained, and wisdom applied often happen quietly behind the scenes. But God sees every act of faithful stewardship.
Work done for God’s glory carries lasting significance because it is rooted in eternal purpose rather than temporary recognition.
Today, let your motivation go beyond results alone. Work in a way that honors God in every detail.
