Emotional intelligence is the ability to understand your emotions and the emotions of others—and to respond with wisdom, empathy, and self-control. In real estate, this skill is essential.
Emotional intelligence helps you recognize when clients are anxious, overwhelmed, frustrated, or discouraged—even if they don’t say it directly. It guides your tone, timing, pace, and approach. It prevents unnecessary conflict and strengthens every relationship.
Jesus demonstrated perfect emotional intelligence—responding gently to the broken, firmly to the proud, patiently to the confused, and compassionately to the fearful.
Growing in emotional intelligence strengthens your leadership, enhances your communication, and raises your level of service.
