Accounting is often unseen work. When everything is accurate and compliant, silence follows. Yet when something goes wrong, attention is immediate. This imbalance can lead to discouragement or the temptation to measure worth by recognition.

Jesus reminds us that faithfulness in small and unseen matters carries eternal weight. God is not impressed by visibility; He is pleased by obedience. The quiet diligence no one applauds is often where character is formed and trust is built.

Unseen work tests motive. It reveals whether you are driven by recognition or by faithfulness. When you remain diligent without praise, you align your heart with God’s priorities rather than the world’s.

God sees every unseen effort—the careful review, the ethical restraint, the discipline to do things rightly when no one would notice otherwise. These moments matter deeply to Him.
