Faithful with Delayed Results [Real Estate Dev #25]

Scripture: “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9 (ESV)

Devotional

In development, results often arrive long after the work is done. Projects take months—or years—to come together. The fruit of your effort may be delayed by market shifts, unforeseen obstacles, or forces beyond your control. That waiting can become wearying, especially when you've poured out your best. Galatians 6:9 encourages you not to give up. The harvest will come, but in God's season—not yours.

Faithfulness is measured not only by outcomes, but by perseverance. God sees your daily obedience, your quiet decisions, your integrity behind the scenes. Even when results seem distant or slow, your labor is not in vain. In the economy of God, nothing offered in faith is wasted.

There will be days when you question whether the work matters—whether all the energy, integrity, and investment are making any difference. In those moments, return to this promise: a harvest is coming. But you must not lose heart.

Keep planting good seeds—of righteousness, of service, of truth. Even if others do not notice or reward you immediately, God does. He will honor your work in ways that go beyond buildings and budgets. Stay faithful, stay rooted, and stay hopeful.

Reflection Questions:

  • Where am I tempted to give up because I don’t see results yet?

  • How can I renew my perseverance today?

  • What spiritual harvest am I trusting God for in due time?

Prayer

God, strengthen me to keep doing good, even when results are delayed. Remind me that You see my work and will bring fruit in Your time. Help me persevere with faith and joy. Amen.
