Scripture: “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” — Luke 16:10
Devotional
Most ethical decisions in accounting are not dramatic or headline-worthy. They happen quietly—in small judgments, minor adjustments, and everyday choices. Yet Scripture reminds us that faithfulness in small things is deeply significant in God’s eyes.
Small decisions shape habits. Habits shape character. And character shapes influence. When you choose honesty in a minor detail, diligence in a routine task, or restraint in a subtle moment of pressure, you are practicing faithfulness that prepares you for greater responsibility.
It can be tempting to believe that only major decisions matter, but God sees differently. He uses small acts of obedience to build trust, credibility, and spiritual maturity. The way you handle what seems insignificant reveals the posture of your heart.
Today, do not underestimate the power of small decisions. Each one is an opportunity to honor God and strengthen your witness.
