Faithfulness in the Small Things [Financial Advisor #46]

Scripture: “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much…” — Luke 16:10

Devotional

Much of your work as a financial advisor happens in the details—emails, small accounts, routine reviews, minor adjustments. It can be easy to reserve your best effort for the biggest clients or highest-impact decisions.

But Jesus teaches that faithfulness is revealed in the small things.

Every interaction matters. Every recommendation matters. Every follow-up, every report, every moment of preparation is an opportunity to honor God. Faithfulness in the unseen builds the foundation for influence in the seen.

God is not just watching how you handle large portfolios—He’s watching how you steward the small, quiet responsibilities. When you are faithful in little, He entrusts you with more—not just materially, but spiritually.

Great impact is built on consistent faithfulness.

Reflection Questions:

  1. Are there “small” tasks in your work that you tend to overlook or rush through?

  2. How can you bring greater intentionality to routine responsibilities?

  3. What might God be preparing you for through your current level of stewardship?

Prayer

Lord, help me be faithful in every detail. Teach me to honor You not just in big moments, but in the daily, unseen work You’ve entrusted to me.
