Scripture: “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much…” — Luke 16:10
Devotional
Much of your work as a financial advisor happens in small, unseen moments.
It’s the careful review of a portfolio. The extra time spent explaining a concept. The follow-up call that ensures a client understands their decisions. These moments may feel routine—but in God’s eyes, they are significant.
Faithfulness is not measured by the size of the opportunity, but by the consistency of your character.
Jesus taught that trust in greater things begins with faithfulness in smaller ones. That means every detail matters. Every interaction matters. Every decision—no matter how small—is shaping your witness and your impact.
Don’t overlook the small things. They are the foundation of everything God wants to build through you.
Reflection Questions:
What “small things” in your work are easy to overlook?
How can you approach routine tasks with greater intentionality?
In what ways might God be using small moments to prepare you for more?
Prayer
Lord, help me be faithful in the small things. Shape my character in the details, and prepare me for greater responsibility through consistent obedience.
