Faithfulness in the Small Things [Sales Professional #11]

Scripture: “One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much.” — Luke 16:10 (ESV)

Devotional

Sales is full of small tasks—logging notes, following up, preparing proposals, confirming appointments, updating CRM entries. These quiet disciplines rarely get applause, yet they are the backbone of consistent success. More importantly, Scripture teaches that God sees them as acts of faithfulness.

Jesus said that how you handle “little things” reveals your readiness for greater responsibility. The world rewards results. God rewards faithfulness. When you honor Him in the small, unseen, uncelebrated tasks, you are storing up eternal treasure and cultivating a heart He can trust with more.

Nothing you do with integrity and diligence is wasted. Faithfulness in the small things shapes your character, sharpens your skills, and prepares you for larger opportunities—both in sales and in your spiritual calling.

Let your small tasks become small acts of obedience that bring big glory to God.

Reflection Questions:

·       Which “small things” in my role do I tend to overlook or rush through?

·       How can I approach daily tasks as opportunities for faithfulness?

·       What does a “faithful spirit” look like in my work today?

Prayer

Father, help me treat every task—large or small—with faithfulness. Shape my character through discipline, diligence, and integrity. Prepare me for greater opportunities as I honor You today. Amen.
