Scripture: “Whatever you do… do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus.” — Colossians 3:17
Devotional
Not every act of faithfulness will be noticed.
You may not always receive recognition for doing what is right. You may not always see immediate results from your efforts. And at times, it may feel like your work goes unseen.
But God sees.
He sees the integrity you maintain. The care you give. The sacrifices you make. The quiet decisions that honor Him.
Faithfulness is not about applause—it is about obedience.
When your motivation shifts from recognition to honoring God, your work becomes something deeper. It becomes worship.
And while the world may measure success by visibility, God measures it by faithfulness.
Reflection Questions:
How much does recognition influence your motivation?
Are there areas where you feel overlooked or undervalued?
How can you reframe your work as an offering to God rather than a pursuit of approval?
Prayer
Father, help me remain faithful regardless of recognition. Let my work be an offering to You, and remind me that Your approval is enough. Amen.
