Scripture
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
Devotional
Legal work often requires patience over long timelines. Cases develop slowly. Negotiations take time. Progress can feel incremental, and outcomes are not always immediate. In these seasons, it is easy to become discouraged or to question whether your effort is making a difference.
But Scripture reminds you that faithfulness is not measured by speed—it is measured by perseverance.
There will be times when you are doing everything right—preparing thoroughly, advocating faithfully, acting with integrity—and yet results seem delayed. These are the moments where your commitment is tested.
God’s promise is not instant outcomes, but eventual fruit. Your responsibility is to remain faithful in the process.
Faithfulness in slow seasons builds resilience. It strengthens discipline. It deepens your trust in God’s timing rather than your own expectations.
Even when progress feels unseen, your work matters. Your effort is not wasted. God is at work in ways you cannot always see.
