Generosity is often associated with giving, but biblical generosity begins much earlier—with stewardship. Before resources can be shared wisely, they must first be managed faithfully.
As an accountant, you understand the importance of stewardship. You see firsthand how resources can be handled responsibly or carelessly. Scripture teaches that faithfulness with what has been entrusted to you is foundational to Kingdom impact.
God does not call you to generosity disconnected from wisdom. He calls you to manage resources with integrity, discipline, and purpose. Stewardship is not about ownership—it is about recognizing that everything ultimately belongs to Him.
When you approach your finances, time, influence, and abilities as entrusted gifts, your perspective changes. You begin asking not only, “What can I gain?” but also, “How can I use this for God’s purposes?”
Faithful stewardship creates the foundation for meaningful generosity. It allows your work and resources to become tools for blessing others and advancing God’s Kingdom.
Today, remember that stewardship is not separate from generosity—it is where generosity begins.
