Generosity is not limited to finances. One of the most meaningful gifts you can offer others is your time and attention.
In a busy profession, time often feels scarce. Deadlines, meetings, and responsibilities compete for your focus. Because of this, it can become easy to rush interactions or overlook opportunities to care for others more intentionally.
Yet people are often carrying burdens that are not immediately visible. A coworker may be struggling personally. A client may feel overwhelmed. Someone on your team may simply need patience and encouragement.
When you slow down enough to truly notice others, your workplace becomes more than a place of productivity—it becomes a place of ministry.
Jesus consistently gave people His attention. He listened, paused, and responded with compassion, even in busy seasons. As His follower, you are called to do the same.
Generosity with your time communicates value. It tells others they matter beyond the task at hand.
Today, be generous not only with what you give, but with how present you are.

Do I tend to rush through interactions with others?
Who around me may need more patience or attention right now?
How can I become more present in my daily conversations?
Action Step
During one conversation today, intentionally slow down, listen fully, and give the other person your complete attention.
Prayer
Father, help me be generous with my time and attention. Teach me to notice and care for others the way Jesus did. Amen.
