Giving Clients Space to Process [Residential Broker #148]
Scripture
The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge. Proverbs 18:15.
Devotional
Clients often need space to think—not pressure to decide quickly. Emotions, finances, fears, and desires all converge when making real estate decisions. Rushing clients can lead to regret, stress, and broken trust.
Giving space is an act of respect.
Space allows clients to process information, pray, talk with loved ones, and gain clarity. It gives them ownership of the decision, which in turn increases satisfaction and confidence.
When you give space, you demonstrate patience, maturity, and genuine care. You show that you value their wellbeing more than the speed of the transaction.
Let clients breathe. Let them think. Let them pray. Good decisions grow in space.
Reflection Questions
Who needs more space from me today?
Am I rushing someone unintentionally?
How can I foster clarity through patience?
Prayer
Lord, help me give clients space to process. Make me patient, wise, and discerning in how I guide their decisions. Amen.
