Scripture: Isaiah 40:29 — “He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might He increases strength.”
Devotional
Some days, the work feels heavier than normal. Fatigue sets in, motivation dips, and responsibilities feel overwhelming. On days like these, God reminds you that He does not expect you to operate out of your own strength. He supplies what you lack.
The God who never grows weary is the same God who empowers you. He strengthens your hands, steadies your thoughts, renews your endurance, and gives you the grace to keep going. This strength is not only physical—it is emotional, spiritual, and mental. He provides clarity when you feel scattered, peace when the pressure builds, and courage when you feel unsure.
Your workplace becomes a place where God’s strength is revealed. His power often shows up not when you feel capable, but when you feel dependent. The world may measure strength by productivity or performance, but God measures it by reliance on Him.
Reflection Questions:
Where do you feel weak or weary in your work right now?
What would it look like to lean on God’s strength instead of your own?
What tasks today require His empowerment?
Prayer
Lord, I need Your strength. Renew my energy, focus, and courage. Help me work today not in my own power but in Yours. Be my strength in every task. Amen.
