God Is in the Waiting Seasons [Residential Broker #19]

Scripture: “Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage.” — Psalm 27:14 (ESV)

Devotional

Slow seasons in real estate can be discouraging. Leads dry up, listings stall, and momentum fades. You may question your calling or feel anxious about finances. But spiritual growth often happens in the waiting—not the rushing.

Waiting seasons refine your faith, reveal your motives, and strengthen your dependence on God. They remind you that your provision comes from Him, not the market. When business slows, God invites you to draw near, listen, and trust His timing.

Waiting is not inactivity; it is preparation. God may be shaping your character, redirecting your path, or preparing new opportunities you cannot yet see.

Take courage. Waiting is not wasted when it is surrendered to God.

Reflection Questions:

·       How do I usually respond when business slows?

·       What might God be teaching me in this waiting season?

·       Where do I need to surrender my timeline to Him?

Prayer

God, help me trust You in the waiting. Strengthen my heart and calm my fears. Use this season to deepen my faith and prepare me for what You have next. Amen.
