Scripture: “I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut.” — Revelation 3:8 (ESV)
Devotional
Sales is full of doors—some open joyfully, some close painfully, some stay cracked open with uncertainty. But Revelation reminds us that God is the One who ultimately opens and closes opportunities.
Your job is faithfulness.
God’s job is outcomes.
When God opens a door, no competitor, no circumstance, no lost deal, no market shift can shut it. When He closes a door, it’s because He is protecting you, redirecting you, or preparing you for something better.
This truth releases you from the anxiety of forcing results. It frees you from desperation in slow seasons. It fuels hope when things feel uncertain.
Every open door is grace.
Every closed door is mercy.
Every waiting door is preparation.
Trust the One who holds every key.
Reflection Questions:
· Am I trying to force open any doors God may be closing?
· What open doors has God placed before me that I need to walk through?
· How can I practice trust in God’s timing today?
Prayer
Lord, thank You for opening the right doors and closing the wrong ones. Help me trust Your timing and direction. Give me peace to walk through the doors You set before me with courage and faith. Amen.
