Scripture: "The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.”— Psalm 24:1 (NIV)

Devotional

As a financial planner, you're entrusted with managing and advising on resources every single day. But here’s the foundational truth that must ground everything you do: God owns it all. Every dollar, every asset, every portfolio, every opportunity—it all belongs to Him.

That includes your own business, your time, your energy, and yes, your income. When you shift from an “ownership” mindset to a “stewardship” mindset, the pressure to control everything is released. You're not working to build your empire—you’re cultivating God’s Kingdom with what He has entrusted to you.

This truth also changes how you serve your clients. You're not just helping them grow wealth; you’re helping them honor God with what is ultimately His. That’s a high calling—and a freeing one. You are not the source. God is. You are not the owner. God is.

Start this devotional journey by surrendering everything back to Him: your clients, your firm, your finances, your future.

Reflection Question:

Where in your life or work have you been holding on too tightly—as if it belongs to you?

Prayer

Father, thank You for entrusting me with resources, relationships, and responsibilities. Remind me daily that it all belongs to You. Teach me to hold what I have with open hands and to manage it with wisdom, faith, and humility. May my work reflect trust in Your ownership and my willingness to steward well for Your glory.
