God Provides Opportunities [TDPOW #16]

Scripture: Revelation 3:8 — “Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut…”

Devotional

Your career path is not random. The opportunities, relationships, and doors you encounter are shaped by the hand of God. He orchestrates connections, aligns timing, and opens doors according to His purpose—not human approval or effort.

Sometimes He opens doors wide. Other times He closes them firmly. But both are expressions of His wisdom and protection. The job you have today, the responsibilities you carry, and the people you work with are part of His purpose for you in this season.

Because God opens doors, you don’t have to force your way through life. You can work with confidence, make decisions with peace, and trust that God places you where you can best grow, contribute, and shine for His glory.

Reflection Questions:

  1. What “doors” has God opened for you recently?

  2. Are there any closed doors you need to trust Him with?

  3. How can you remain faithful in the opportunities He has already given?

Prayer

Father, thank You for guiding my steps and opening doors no one can shut. Help me trust Your timing and walk through opportunities with faith and humility. Lead me where You want me to go. Amen.
