God’s Presence in High-Stakes Meetings [Sales Professional #81]

God’s Presence in High-Stakes Meetings [Sales Professional #81]

Scripture: “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” — Exodus 33:14 (ESV)

Devotional

Big presentations and high-stakes meetings can feel like defining moments—careers, income, and future opportunities may seem to hang in the balance. It’s easy to walk into these rooms feeling alone, carrying the full weight of the outcome on your shoulders. But God’s promise to Moses still applies: “My presence will go with you.”

You never enter a meeting by yourself. The same God who parted the Red Sea and raised Jesus from the dead goes with you into conference rooms, video calls, and negotiations. His presence doesn’t guarantee a “yes” every time, but it does guarantee that you are never abandoned, never unsupported, and never outside His care.

When you remember that, your heart can rest—even in high-pressure moments. You prepare well, you show up with excellence, and you trust that the outcome is in His hands.

Reflection Questions:

·       How do I usually feel before high-stakes meetings—panicked or prayerful?

·       What would change if I truly believed God’s presence goes with me into every room?

·       How can I practically remind myself of His presence before my next big meeting?

Prayer

Lord, thank You that I never walk into a meeting alone. Help me sense Your presence, rest in Your nearness, and trust You with the results. Let my peace under pressure point others to You. Amen.
