Scripture: “And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” — Matthew 28:20 (ESV)
Devotional
It can feel like God is present in church but distant in the office, on property tours, or in tense conference calls. Yet Jesus’ promise has no geographical or occupational limit: “I am with you always.” He is just as present when you’re reviewing leases as when you’re singing worship.
His presence changes the atmosphere. It can quiet your anxiety before a crucial call, give you patience when a client is unreasonable, and offer creativity when a deal seems stuck. Recognizing His presence doesn’t require dramatic moments—it begins by simply acknowledging, “Lord, You’re here with me.”
When you invite Him into your workday, ordinary spaces become sacred. Your office becomes a small outpost of His Kingdom.
Reflection Questions:
· Do I consciously recognize God’s presence during my workday—or mostly outside of it?
· What is one simple way I can acknowledge Him in my routine today?
Prayer
Lord, thank You that You are with me in every meeting, email, and decision. Help me stay aware of Your presence and depend on You throughout my workday. Amen.
