God’s Strength in Your Weakness [Sales Professional #162]

Scripture

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (ESV)

Devotional

Your weakness may feel like a liability—areas you struggle, skills you lack, insecurities that flare up. But God sees weakness not as a flaw to hide, but as an opportunity for His grace to shine.

Paul learned that Christ’s power is made perfect in weakness, not apart from it. Sometimes your greatest spiritual victories come in the places where you feel least capable. Why? Because you lean harder on Him.

Your weakness:

  • Keeps you dependent

  • Humbles your heart

  • Reminds you that God is the One who works

  • Opens space for His power to flow

Instead of pretending to be strong, bring your weakness into the light of Christ. He will meet you there.

Reflection Questions

What weaknesses am I most ashamed of in my work?

How might God want to use those areas to show His power?

What would surrender look like today in that weakness?

Prayer

Jesus, meet me in my weakness. Show Your strength where I feel least capable. Let Your grace be sufficient for me today. Amen.
